What a trip !! Here goes..
We started off at 4 AM (5 AM) on 13th morning. Destination was Key West, stops being Everglades and Miami. We rented two G6 pontiacs and a “Chevrolet box car”.
Started off with blaring music. I do not remember the combination of people in the cars but we had great fun all the time. The route we took is more or less the one I have indicated on map. Our first stop was to have our home made sabji and chapathi and then it was everglades, we went on to see some wildlife and click some amazing pictures of nature and ourselves. Check out pictures. We then headed to Key Largo where we had booked a room and decided to have our dinner before checking in. The food at a Thai restaurant was simply mind blowing and stomach cleaning! That was the worst food I had ever tasted. We then crashed.
Got up early and headed off to snorkeling!! Man that was fun!! I was dropped in the mid of the sea, near the coral reef. We had our air filled jackets, the mask and the snorkel. I had a wonderful time looking at the fishes which were right below me. That was one wonderful experience.
We then headed off to have lunch and decided to drive to Miami. We reached there in the evening and had nothing great to do!. Although we did see how downtown in Miami is, spent a few minutes in the beach and decided to come back. I95, the road sound familiar! We then put our engines to work and I went to sleep! The only one among the four in the car who slept!
Unfortunately we got a ticket for overspeeding by 15 miles just a mile before we could reach our crib. A $201 fine to end the trip.
